Information Builders Appoints Product Executives to Lead Innovation and Growth

New York, September 27, 2018 – Information Builders, a leader in business intelligence (BI), analytics and data management solutions, today announced the additions of Eric Raab and Kabir Choudry to streamline product engineering and technical processes. In his role as senior vice president, Engineering and Product, Raab will focus on aligning business, technical, and human objectives to deliver increased product value and drive revenue growth. As vice president, Field Technical Engineering and Strategy, Choudry will support cloud and customer success teams to shape Information Builders’ technical presence. Both will report to Frank J. Vella, the company’s chief operating officer.

Information Builders recently launched a new version of the WebFOCUS BI and analytics platform with new features designed to improve flexibility and scalability, promote collaboration and communication, and boost analytical power. The appointments of technology experts Raab and Choudry strengthen the company’s position as a leader in BI and data analytics.
With a Ph.D. in physics from MIT, Raab brings more than 20 years of experience leading the technology organizations of high-tech companies, including Yodle, M5 Networks, and IDT. He will leverage his technical, engineering, and development expertise to lead and manage the product engineering teams, accelerating innovation and roadmapping features.
Similarly, Choudry will work with technical and product teams to enhance Information Builders’ readiness and bridge the elements executed within each area of the company to design a cohesive technical experience for clients. Choudry brings an extensive background in the customer journey with previous roles at BlueJeans Network, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Oracle Corporation, and Sun Microsystems. He also has degrees in both mathematics and computer science from the University of Waterloo.
