STEINBOK OPEN STATEMENT TO THE PUBLIC

 

 

Successful long running Australian family business Steinbok have been falsely represented by an unscrupulous, illegal company making cheap substandard spirits that have been trading off Steinbok’s range of bar cordials called Barman’s Choice.

 

The illegal company have been closed down by the ATO and had their products recalled by the NSW & Queensland Health Departments because they included high levels of chemicals in their products. The company also has problems with the health department on quality and subsequently with the ATO.

Gavin Yates, Steinbok spokesman is angered with the misrepresentation and is concerned that this illegal company may damage and harm their family owned brand.

Yates says “I’m shocked, horrified and disgusted that our Trademarked Barman’s Choice cordial brand may have been misrepresented in the market, our Batman’s Choice product range is purely non-alcoholic cordials.”

 

“ We have absolutely nothing to do with the Barman’s Choice Whiskey brand or the company that traded off our proprietary name and bow tie logo, misleading the public and has now run fowl of both the NSW & Queensland Health Departments and the ATO. “
