DOWNER FINDS NEW NBN PARTNER IN P3

[Brisbane, Queensland, September 27] Preferred Project Partners (P3) announces a new relationship with Downer EDI (Downer) a Tier 1 construction company working on Australia’s largest infrastructure project, the national broadband network (NBN).

P3 specialises in systemisation and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects and is now considered a Tier 2 contractor within Australia for the NBN rollout. P3 will have contractors delivering a higher quality of installation that reflects the desired standards of Downer while maintaining its primary focus on zero harm to its contractors and the community.

P3 CEO, John McAlpine, said that “Over the next 12 months, P3 aims to deliver radical improvements in the installation and delivery of the NBN connections to end users. P3 will deliver this through our proprietary systems and reporting, effectively improving efficiency regarding the rollout of NBN in Queensland.”

Downer expects its new relationship with P3 to result in End Users receiving a more satisfying customer experience from contracting partners. Downer is excited about the efficiencies that P3 will bring to areas within the NBN project scope.

P3 COO, Garry Green said, “We will also be looking to extend proprietary systems to other large infrastructure and major construction projects over the next two years.” P3 has already begun communicating with other large construction contractors and is also looking to expand its operations to projects in other countries.
