‘Day Zero’ of Carbon Black’s annual customer conference features in-depth, technical workshops to accelerate developers’ ability to extend Carbon Black’s open cloud platform to improve the security stack
SYDNEY— October 10, 2018. Carbon Black (NASDAQ: CBLK), a leader in next-generation endpoint security delivered via the cloud, welcomed more than 100 developers from around the world to discover powerful new ways to leverage Carbon Black’s unfiltered data across the full security stack.
The day of in-depth, technical workshops will showcase the Cb Predictive Security Cloud and kicked off Carbon Black’s three-day, sold out user conference, #CbConnect18.

The Cb Predictive Security Cloud is an open platform – one that allows third-party developers to leverage Carbon Black’s unfiltered data from the endpoint to the cloud. With native extensibility, the PSC makes it easy for developers to improve an organisation’s security posture by building extensions including:
In conjunction with Developer Day at #CbConnect18, Carbon Black announced that 15 new partners have joined the Carbon Black Integration Network. CbIN represents vendors, customers and security technologists that have extended Carbon Black products – often through custom data ingestion or open APIs documented on GitHub – to build integrations that benefit an organisation's security posture and can be leveraged openly by the entire security community. Currently, more than 112 partners have built more than 140 documented integrations.
New Cb Integration Network partners include: Brinqa, Centrify, Digital Shadows, Intel 471, Nozomi Networks, ObserveIT, Perch Security, Preempt, RedSeal, Smokescreen, Sumo Logic, Syncurity, Tines, Varonis and Verodin.
“The extensibility of Carbon Black’s platform allows us to easily expand the insight available to Nozomi Networks’ SCADAguardian by providing enterprise asset information, such as installed software, patch levels, ports and services, users, group policies and firewall policies of OS-based assets. The integration between Nozomi Networks and Carbon Black offers our customers previously unattainable visibility across both IT and OT applications,” said Paul Smith, Director of Product Research & Strategy at Nozomi Networks.
