SecureSoft lands double cyber security distribution deals in Asia Pacific

Australian distributor SecureSoft has signed exclusive deals to bring two global cyber security firms into Asia Pacific.

The NSW-based distributor has landed deals with the Danish anti-malware specialist Heimdal Security and the Canadian email-focused security vendor Vircom.

As a result, SecureSoft will be the only distributor selling both brands across the whole APAC region, although Heimdal also works with a reseller just in Australia.

The Heimdal deal will focus on selling the company’s Thor Enterprise Suite, which aims to block and filter out security threats within the financial services industry.

Meanwhile, SecureSoft will also distribute Vircom’s email security solutions for businesses, with cloud or on-premises variants.

SecureSoft channel partners have access to both the vendors’ full suite of products.

"The addition of Heimdal Security and of Vircom adds to class-leading protection solutions for Australian companies and more broadly across APAC as part of a layered defence strategy," SecureSoft national business manager Steve Cronan told ARN. "SecureSoft provides local time-zone support."

All training and channel support will be provided from the distributor’s office in Sydney, Cronan added.

Established in 2008, SecureSoft currently works with cyber security vendors Avira, G DATA, TitanHQ in addition to Heimdal and Vircom, across APAC.
