Threat Intelligence Completes Final Round Presentation in Inaugural Optus Innovation Challenge

The new all-in-one security automation platform Evolve makes it easier than ever to protect SMBs and families on demand
Threat Intelligence today confirmed its Evolve security automation platform has successfully completed its final round presentation in the inaugural Optus Innovation Challenge. Shortlisted from a list of 85 applications, its Evolve platform showcased how an easy-to-use automated security solution could address the security issues faced by SMBs and families in Australia and provide greater on-demand protection.
For Ty Miller, managing director of Threat Intelligence the nomination as a finalist validates the recently-launched platform: “The Evolve security automation platform is unique. It’s designed to give business and individuals cost-effective access to a new level of IT security capability – even for threats they may not be aware of. It’s cloud based so it can be accessed quickly and from anywhere.”
The Optus Innovation Challenge was delivered in partnership with the Macquarie University Incubator and held at the Optus Innovation Hub over a six-week program. The finalists were selected on their ability to help SMBs to grow digitally. The final pitch round presented to an audience of Optus’ IT Innovation, Digital and SMB Go-To-Market teams in the Sydney Innovation Hub, Stone & Chalk.
The innovation behind the Evolve security automation platform tackles evolving global threats and the challenges SMBs face with limited security budgets, skills and resources. Launched in August this year, Threat Intelligence now has a clear vision on the application and rollout of Evolve with SMBs in Australia.
“We know many SMBs and families would love to be able to better protect themselves from security challenges, rather than constantly managing security issues. Evolve lets them do this and can scale up or down to meet their needs at different times,” concluded Miller.
