Royal Couple misses out on Melbourne's biggest and best Baby Expo!

Announcement posted by Pregnancy Babies & Childrens Expo 18 Oct 2018

PBC Expo can help Melbourne's need for reliable expert pregnancy and parenting advice and information.

As the Royal Couple leaves Melbourne we open our doors to Melbourne’s best and biggest pregnancy and parenting event. Showcasing over 200 Exhibitors featuring the best and latest in nursery essentials plus huge variety of interactive feature areas providing vital parenting help and resources.

With Victoria’s birth rate soaring and maternity wards overflowing there is even more need for reliable expert pregnancy and parenting advice and information. We have four antenatal classes running per day, a multitude of talks, hands-on workshops and a Car Restraint Safety Advice Centre. Visitors can also take advantage of the St John CPR Lab and learn how to save their babies life.

Another unique feature of our Expo is what we like to call our Invictus Exhibitors. They are Australian families who have suffered the tragedy of losing a child and from that adversity have come through to provide education and support so that other families may not suffer the same heartbreak they have been through. They include:

·         Light for Riley who lost their 3 month old son Riley to whooping cough and will be offering free vaccinations to pregnant women in their third trimester.  They will also be handing out immunisation information packs and sharing Riley's important and educational story.

·         Still Aware, suffering a still birth at 40 weeks, founder Claire Foord is committed to ending preventable stillbirth, because it is the leading cause of infant death in Australia. Their stand will provide resources and one on one advice.

·         River’s Gift had to face the trauma of Sudden Infant Death of their 4 month old son River and ever since have become the largest source of funding for SIDS research in Australia.  They will be delivering a Safe Sleep talk plus will have information and handouts on their stand.

·         Georgina Josephine Foundation, Peter and Emma lost their daughter to a driveway accident, at just 15 months old. “We want people to be inspired to change, not to think we are brave. We can’t improve the situation for us, but we can try to make it better for other people.”  A full-size driveway safety display will be at the Expo to show the hazards and traps to avoid in order to save a life or serious injury.

See these inspiring exhibitors and all the latest, must have parenting gadgets and accessories all under one roof this weekend!
