Announcement posted by Mable 23 Oct 2018

Mable was recognised in two categories at last night’s Australian Growth Company Awards before taking out the award for ‘Company to Watch’.

The Australian Growth Company Awards ceremony was held in Sydney on October 17 and celebrated companies like Mable who have experienced strong growth, practice innovation and offer valuable contribution to communities.

Peter Scutt, CEO and co-founder of Mable accepted the award and spoke to hundreds of growth and industry leaders about the importance of Mable in local communities across the country.

“We are a company that is driven by purpose and we’re all about improving the lives of people who live with a disability or people who are ageing.”

“We started Mable in 2014, partly off the experience of my ageing parents and the poor outcomes they received from trying to get care to remain living at home.”

Mable was also selected as one of five finalists for the Australian Growth Company Awards most important title – Growth Company of the Year.

Scutt spoke of the integral role that independent support workers play on the Mable platform: “Importantly, we’re all about assisting the people who support them [clients] through revolutionising the way the industry operates and by connecting people in local communities around Australia”.

The Australian Growth Company Awards has been running since 2012, and are sponsored by industry-leading companies such as Deloitte, NAB Health, Macquarie Capital, Hamilton Locke and Intralinks.
