Sydney, Australia – 30th October, 2018: Brother’s high-performance printers, and client-first approach to customer service, have once again proven to satisfy the needs of consumers and businesses alike. Taking out the PCMag Readers’ Choice award 10 years in a row, as well as the PCMag Business Choice award for a consecutive six years, Brother’s dedication to producing high-quality machines over the past decade has been unwavering.

“Few companies in any technology category have been able to consistently earn top-notch customer satisfaction ratings the way Brother has”, said Ben Gottesman of PCMag Australia.

As a leader in home and business solutions, the satisfaction ratings across each of PCMag’s categories have only seen growth.  Overall satisfaction, satisfaction with ease of setup, ease of reliability, and likelihood to recommend, all increased in score since 2017 for the Readers’ Choice Award. Meanwhile in the Business Choice award ratings, Brother topped or tied for every category that was measured.

“No matter how we sliced it, Brother comes out on top. The company had the highest satisfaction ratings among printers less than a year old, printers for home, inkjet all-in-one printers, monochrome laser printers, monochrome laser all-in-ones and colour laser all-in-ones”, Gottesman states. “According to our survey respondents, no one else can deliver the same level of overall satisfaction, reliability, and ease of setup”.

PCMag introduced the Business Choice Award six years ago, and Brother is delighted to have been the recipient of this award every year since it’s inception. Printers make up an integral part of an office workflow, therefore the functionality and affordability of the device, as well as the manufacturer’s capacity to offer tech support and repairs, play a vital role in customer perception and satisfaction.

“Year in and year out, the company has walked away with the highest award we can give in printers, both for play at home and for getting serious work done. This year is no exception; it would take serious missteps for the company to become anything less than beloved at this point”, says PCMag Australia Editor, Eric Griffith.
The PCMag Readers’ Choice and Business Choice Awards are based on overall customer satisfaction and printer attributes including setup, reliability, printing quality, technical support, repairs, the cost of consumables, and the likelihood to recommend.

The PCMag Business Choice and Readers’ Choice winners are determined by an email survey of PCMag community members that subscribe to the Readers' Choice Survey mailing list. Respondents were asked to rate their printer using multiple questions about their overall satisfaction with the solution, as well as experiences with technical support within the past 12 months.
