Announcement posted by Flick Anticimex 07 Nov 2018

On 6 November 2018, Flick Anticimex held celebrations across the country to commence the hundredth anniversary of the Flick name.
A total of 1,150 employees celebrated this special occasion at our forty branches and depots, which coincided with Melbourne Cup celebrations. Central to the celebrations were the introduction of a new Flick 100 Years logo and Flick 100 promotion for our residential customers.

Commenting on the occasion, Guido Toepfer, President of Pacific Region:

“A hundred years is quite an achievement in any country of the world and I’m very proud to be part of this company. Flick is a company that’s known across the country because we have a hundred-year history of bringing innovation to the market and making this world a safer place. We’ve been protecting families and their most valuable assets from destruction. I believe we can easily do another hundred years and I look forward to celebrating the next birthday.”

In 1918, our founder, W.A. Flick started the W.A. Flick and Co. pest control business in Sydney, NSW. In 2002, Flick Pest Control was acquired by ISS World and expanded our product range to include washroom and hygiene services. In 2013, the pest control and washroom services of ISS were acquired by Swedish company, Anticimex.

Through prevention, new technology and sustainable solutions, we meet the demands for healthy environments, for both individuals and businesses.
