Jones Mitchell Family Lawyers kicks off modern education with webinars
Gold Coast, Queensland: Australia’s oldest family law firm, Jones Mitchell Family Lawyers, is modernising how people learn about what happens during a divorce with a new series of webinars on the topic.
Webinars, the modern equivalent of a seminar, allow people to login and view a presentation remotely over the internet.
Firm General Manager, Tim Jones, said today “Webinars are a fantastic way for people going through the early stages of separation or divorce because they can see and hear real lawyers demystify divorce from the comfort of their own home without needing to go out in public and risk being seen.”
“Warwick (Jones, founder of the firm) previously held public seminars across the Gold Coast which were always well attended, but now the technology allows it, we believe the private nature of a webinar is better suited to what is a personal and sensitive topic.”
The first webinar, “What to expect when you’re getting divorced” will take place Wednesday, 12 December at 7:30pm and the firm is accepting questions from the public up until COB on the 11th.
People can register on the firm’s website. The series will continue early in 2019, with webinars on parenting arrangements and navigating divorce as a business owner to follow.
