Liferay showcases innovative digital experiences and launches DXP Cloud
The next step in digital business innovation and customer experience management was on show at the Liferay Digital Solutions Forum in Sydney recently.
The forum focused on technology and how to accelerate innovation with digital leaders and Liferay customers, including IMB Bank and Toll Group, taking to the stage to reveal how they deliver business value via digital innovation.
Alby Salido, Senior Manager Technology, IMB Bank, presented how IMB has embarked on a journey to enhance their member engagement and access to data while improving speed to market.
Delegates also heard from Rod Zandbergs who heads the Design Practice, within the Toll Group’s Global Digital Centre of Excellence on bridging the design and technology divide.
“To deliver great customer value it’s essential to blend design with IT and to invest in the technology that you have in place now rather than the next big new thing. Uncover what opportunities there are to improve output and outcomes to improve the customer’s experience,” said Zandbergs.
Liferay launched DXP Cloud and Adrian Johnson, General Manager Australia and New Zealand, shared how it brings the benefits of Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to the cloud, greatly lessening the need for IT to maintain and manage their own infrastructure.
“We developed Liferay DXP Cloud because we understand the need among enterprise customers to deliver business solutions faster and with less IT resources intervention,” said Johnson.
Liferay DXP Cloud was showcased alongside the complementary offering of Liferay Commerce and Liferay Analytics Cloud also newly launched this year
“Liferay Analytics Cloud provides organisations with insights into their customer profile data from multiple sources and specific marketing asset performance, while Liferay Commerce has been built from the ground up to work with Liferay DXP and is specifically designed for the complexity of B2B selling,” said Johnson.
In addition, keynote speaker, Tim Sheedy, Principal Advisor, Ecosystm 360, delivered his views on how technology can help ensure success in the digital landscape, with organisational structures needing to be more integrated and less siloed to ensure flexibility, minimise risk and remain successful.
“It is brutally difficult, but this transition is absolutely necessary because your customers are judging you today on their digital experiences,” Sheedy said.
