'The Things I Could Never Tell Steven' musical finds a new home in the Limelight

Whimsical Productions is proud to announce new Australian musical “The Things I Could Never Tell Steven” created by Jye Bryant, will return to the Sydney stage in a brand new production from 20 February - 2 March 2019 at Limelight on Oxford, Darlinghurst as part of the Sydney Mardi Gras Festival 2019.
Only a month ago, the production lost the beloved performance and rehearsal venue, the Blood Moon Theatre when the World Bar, Kings Cross served its last drinks. It was a complete shock to the cast and production team and with little time to find a new venue.
Now in 2019, thanks to the kindness of the owners Julie Baz & David Jeffrey at Limelight On Oxford (who also just opened their doors last year), Whimsical Productions has found its' new venue in the downstairs Piano Bar enabling an intimate and immersive experience for the audience.
The Things I Could Never Tell Steven is a one-act (70-minute) musical for four people, with music and lyrics by Australian Composer & Lyricist, Jye Bryant.
Although we never meet Steven, we learn all about him from disclosures of four people in his life: his Wife, Mother, Father and Ex-Boyfriend. The characters share intimate details about their life with Steven and the things they struggle to tell him, all having to come to terms with hidden feelings of betrayal, anguish, frustration and fear, we learn about Steven and the secret that will tear the family apart.
Now with a new production team and diverse cast of incredibly talented performers, audiences will laugh, squirm and cry with the musical rollercoaster of this modern dysfunctional family!
