One of the greatest and most loved action hero movie stars of all time, Steven Seagal arrives in Australia to star in "An Evening with Steven Seagal" in Sydney on Friday February 1st and Melbourne on Saturday February 2nd 2019 with tickets available from $40 at www.stevenseagal.com.au
Along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven is one of the hottest action stars of the 80’s and ‘90’s and early 00s through his hit movies Above the Law, Under Siege, Out for Justice, The Glimmer Man; Exit Wounds and his recent reality TV series Steven Seagal: Lawman!
Seagal got his break in movies after breaking Sean Connery’s wrist as a stuntman in Sean’s last James Bond movie “Never Say Never”. Seagal then started training Hollywood superstar agent Michael Ovitz 3 times a week for $50 an hour. He gave Ovitz the script for ABOVE THE LAW and within weeks he earned $150,000 to star in his debut movie. He then earned $3 million for HARD TO KILL and $40,000,000 for his next three movies. Segal’s early movies grossed over $300 million for Warner Brothers making him the company’s most profitable star in the early 1990’s.
An Evening with Steven Seagal will see the Hollywood movie star, actor, film producer, screenwriter, martial artist and musician take his audience through an action packed night of drama, conversations and stories from his amazing career. He will also take part in a Q and A session with his fans.
InAugust 2018 Seagal was appointed as Russia’s Special Envoy to the United States by President Vladimir V. Putin and is also known for his work as an environmentalist and animal rights activist. In fact he was an environmentalist before people even knew what they were through his 1994 movie On Deadly Ground.
