Property review portal halves the search time for a new home

Announcement posted by Parker Public Relations Melbourne 06 Mar 2019

A highly innovative property inspection review portal is helping aspirational home buyers rapidly narrow down their search and more than halve the time it takes to find the home of their dreams.

Instead of the traditional 4-5 months, with the help of airopens this can be achieved in as little as 80-120 days. And in exceptional circumstances … just 30-40 days!

The property inspection review portal is the brainchild of national buyer agency start-up, BuyerX, which is transforming the elite home-buying experience by combining local area specialisation* with highly disruptive technology. The new venture is underpinned by highly-regarded, nationally based blue-chip property investment specialist, Performance Property Advisory (PPA).

Something of a Trip Advisor for prestige properties, it not only provides consumers with a comprehensive list of all prestige properties on the market# but offers a candid ‘warts and all’ appraisal on many of these properties.

Instead of having to trawl through a myriad real estate portals, platforms and websites then attend 2-5 property inspections each week, airopens enables would-be prestige home buyers to access much of what they need in the one place and dramatically scale down their research … and all via their desktop.

The big game-changer, says BuyerX Corporate General Manager, Dustin Cracknell, is that it helps buyers rapidly isolate the features and characteristics of a home they may or may not like.

“Is the property close to a park? Is there rail and traffic noise? Are there difficult heritage overlay restrictions? Does the property overlook unattractive housing? Is it surrounded by large buildings? Will it cost a lot to fix up? Is it in a great location? Is it near public transport? Are the rooms too small? Can the property be improved? Does it have great natural light? Can it be developed further?

“For the first time ever, buyers are getting absolute transparency on a property, not just what their selling agents may wish them to see or what other sales portals tell them.”

Mr Cracknell says having access to this unprecedented level of unbiased detail, information and opinion, means that time-poor consumers can quickly determine which properties do or don’t meet their requirements, dramatically speeding up the buying process.

“It gives consumers struggling to choose between multiple properties an instant checklist against which they can formulate their own private views and objectively compare one property against another.

“It also helps identify problems that may have been overlooked and could save buyers the heartache of making a very expensive mistake!”

Mr Cracknell says where a buyer may have ‘fallen out of love’ with a property for a specific reason, content on airopens could assist in helping them reach a positive compromise.

“For example, a buyer who may be searching for a four-bedroomed home, may not have contemplated purchasing a three-bedroomed home with the option of converting a dining room into another bedroom.

airopens opens up these considerations and ensures properties aren’t excluded from buyers’ lists simply because they didn’t have sufficient information or their key-word search didn’t reveal these hidden gems!”

#While airopens currently only lists properties in selected Melbourne premium and lifestyle markets, over the next 1-2 months it will include properties in Sydney and Perth, with Brisbane coming on-stream within 6-12 months.

More about …. BuyerX is a highly specialised national buyer agency focussed purely on sourcing and purchasing prestige property for high-end buyers looking for their primary place of residence. It kicked off in Melbourne in January and is progressively rolling out nationwide.

*The agency has partnered with local area specialists (former real estate agents) who focus their search on specific areas and suburbs rather than searching for property across an entire city, state or all of Australia. These specialists have an intimate knowledge of their respective areas; they know which properties are on the market, which are off market and which haven’t yet been listed. They know which properties sell well and why. They also know what a realistic price for a home is and what’s not which means they are in a perfect position to negotiate the best possible deal for the client!
