Announced at the Prime Minister's Veterans' Employment Awards
The Prime Minister's Veterans' Employment Awards ceremony was recently held at Parliament House in Canberra. The award for 'Outstanding Employer of the Year' went to BCT Solutions. The company was also awarded the 'Veterans' Employer of the Year - Medium'.
With nearly 90 per cent of its workforce being former service men and women, BCT Solutions understands the value veterans bring to an organisation. This has seen the company receive a number of awards over the last two years including: Australian Small Business Champion Awards - National Growth Champion, AFR Fast Starter, CRN Fast 50, Deloitte Tech Fast 500 APAC and member of the Sage Power 50.
The reason for their award was provided as:
"The stand-out based on the successful programs it has in place, developed by veterans, to assist veterans in their employment including the provision of informal service transition advice."
The Canberra-based consultancy provides a range of services including Cyber, Electronic Warfare, Technology & Intelligence, as well as helping veterans transition to the private sector. BCT Solutions also prides itself on providing a mature and flexible working environment, where staff can work from remote locations to deliver results for the business.
