Sydney, AUSTRALIA – 2 April 2019: Sharp Corporation Australia are delighted to be joining forces with children’s food company, Coco & Lucas, to promote the launch of their healthy microwavable meal range in Woolworth’s supermarket stores. 

Born out of an entrepreneurial vision to nourish fussy young foodies with dietary requirements, Coco and Lucas’s Kitchen has been on the path to building a successful frozen food brand over the past two and a half years. Recognising a gap in the microwavable food market, the founder of Coco & Lucas’ Kitchen, Diem Fuggersberger, was the first in the market to create quick and healthy frozen meals for kids and tweens with food intolerances such as gluten and lactose. Each meal is not only nutritious, providing a balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates, but is also ready in 3 minutes when cooked in the microwave, has a shelf life of 12 months in the freezer, and is provided in environmentally friendly packaging that is fully recyclable and biodegradable.    

To celebrate the meals hitting the shelves of the Australian supermarket giant, Woolworths, Sharp will be assisting the Coco & Lucas team to host a competition which will give 24 lucky young foodies the chance to attend a special cooking class with Diem, the Coco & Lucas’ founder. The event will be held at Food Innovators at Woolworths HQ in Sydney’s Bella Vista, and will give attendees and their parents the opportunity to learn how to cook selected dishes and compete in a food plating challenge for the chance to win a brand-new Sharp Microwave.
