Cricket Australia appoint KOJO Sport as Creative Content Partner for Big Bash League

Announcement posted by KOJO 16 Apr 2019

Cricket Australia has appointed KOJO Sport as its national creative stadium content partner for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 KFC Big Bash and Rebel Women’s Big Bash Leagues.

This two-year partnership follows a previous one-year contract and KOJO’s successful national stadium content work, including the delivery of engaging game day experiences at Adelaide Oval and Optus Stadium in Perth, where KOJO is the in-house sports presentation and game day production partner.

KOJO has delivered over 250 creative assets this season, displayed on vision screens and LED perimeter displays across all Australian BBL and WBBL venues.

Chantella Perera, Head of Sport at KOJO commented on this opportunity to deliver an exceptional experience for the fans at the upcoming KFC Big Bash League and Rebel Women’s Big Bash League.

“We are thrilled to be selected by Cricket Australia as their creative stadium content partner and look forward to continuing our work delivering imaginative, action-packed content for fans.

“Our focus is to deliver immersive and connected fan engagement experiences, drawing on our deep understanding of what really matters to fans attending live sport. We are uniquely positioned to be able to merge strategy, creativity and world-class technology to create those memorable moments fans are looking to experience.” said Ms Perera.

KOJO Sport uses an innovative mix of choreographed content across lighting, live performance, vision, LED screens and audio to drive deeper fan conversations, and extend the fan experience further.

“Maximising impact with leading-edge technology and creative execution to win the hearts and minds of sports fans is at the centre of KOJO Sport’s philosophy,” said Ms Perera.

The KFC Big Bash League and Rebel Women’s Big Bash League are professional Australian Twenty20 cricket competitions, established in 2011 and 2016, respectively by Cricket Australia. The competition features eight city-based franchises and includes 59 games played over 40 days.
