POWERCOR-CITIPOWER EXTEND CONTRACT WITH CSC

Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Powercor-CitiPower, a subsidiary of the Cheung Kong group of companies (HKSE:1038.HK), has extended its information technology (IT) services contract with CSC.
The new five-year contract has a total value of AU$17.8 million.
Powercor-CitiPower is Victorias largest electricity distributor providing services to 930,000 customers in the Melbourne CBD, inner suburbs, and in Central and Western Victoria.
Under the new contract, CSC will provide Powercor-CitiPower a range of IT-related services, including desktop, helpdesk, midrange, network, security and disaster recovery.
"Re-signing the contract has been an easy decision for both the management and the Board at Powercor-CitiPower given the long, successful relationship with CSC over the last seven years, said Glen McLean, General Manager IT Services, Powercor-CitiPower.
