The Marty Hunt MP "Creative Produce Awards"

Show President Councillor Jenny McKay and Marty Hunt MP - Member for Nicklin officially launched the School's Fruit and Vegetable Display Competition at Nambour State College.

 

Sunshine Coast Agricultural President Jenny McKay said “We are honored to be partnering with Marty Hunt MP and his generous sponsorship of this year’s Schools Fruit and Vegetable Display Competition.

 

“The theme for this year’s display is “The Periodic Table” she said.

 

Marty Hunt will be sponsoring this year’s School entries with $1000 Prize money for the best displays.
1st Place – School will receive $600
2nd Place – School will receive $300
3rd Place – School will recei

Marty Hunt MP said “The prize money will be used by the winning schools to assist further their own Fruit and Vegetable School gardens. It could be used for much needed gardening equipment or tools, seedlings, mulching, soil, fertiliser, pest control or fencing.”

 

Judging will be done on Thursday 13th June and Marty Hunt MP will award the winning School’s at our official opening in the Main Arena 5.30-6pm Friday 14th June.

 

A school representative must be present to receive the award and entry is via their website: www.sunshinecoastshow.asn.au
