UPDATE: YOUNG HEARTS RUN FREE, NEW ARTISTS ADDED TO THE STELLAR LINE-UP

Announcement posted by HOTA 17 May 2019

Additional artists have just been announced to join the packed line-up for the highly anticipated 90s-themed masquerade ball-rock show, coming to HOTA on June 1.
Patience Hodgson, known and loved as the lead vocalist for indie rock band The Grates, is described as one of the most exceptional, unique and era-defying voices of our generation, and will be lending her incredible vocals to the evening of nostalgic beats.

Alternative pop singer, Rhea Robertson, also joins the party to sing the iconic track Love Fool. She recently featured on the Aquaman soundtrack, was announced as a finalist in the Gold Coast Music Awards (2019) for Song of the Year earlier this month, and just launched her new single, ‘Wish You Were Dead’.

Brisbane band, Dubarmarine, are the final act to be revealed, with their unique blend of dub, dancehall, reggae and drum n bass. Vocalists Billie Weston and D-Kazman will be sure to provide audiences with an unforgettable evening thanks to their high-powered and energetic style of performance.

Singer-songwriter, musician and co-creator of the show, Tom Dickins, will also be leading the night with his velvety yet bittersweet voice and heartfelt ballads. Tom has toured the UK, US, Europe and Australia. His debut album ‘A Brief Case Of Madness’ broke Australian crowdfunding records and hit number one on the Australian Bandcamp charts.

These artists will join Abby Dobson, Cash Savage, Airling and Greg Chiapello, who were announced earlier this month, to bring to life the epic soundtrack from director-extraordinaire Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.

This notstalgic 90s night will take place under the stars at HOTA’s Outdoor Stage on June 1 at 7.00pm.
