Beam ready to roll on Monday 24th June
Media outlets are invited to attend the launch of Beam e-scooters in Christchurch Monday 24th June at 9:30 am at Cathedral Square, Christchurch.
A joint doorstop for media will be held at 09:30AM with the Christchurch City Council and Beam.
Christchurch City Council will be represented by Councillor Pauline Cotter, Chair Infrastructure, Transport and Environment Committee.
Free coffee.
Between 9am and 11am Beam will be providing free coffee from http://kiwicoffee.co.nz/ to warm up the morning. Members of the public can download the Beam app (Ridebeam.com), activate it and show the coffee cart for a free morning coffee (limit one per person, per download). The coffee cup will also double as a promotion, carrying a sticker with a code that will give users up to $5 free on their first Beam e-scooter ride.
The first official ride on a Beam e-scooter in Christchurch will occur following the media doorstop with Councillor Cotter and Beam’s Locky Cooper around 10am.
