WITNESS THE THRILLS AND SPILLS OF THE UPPER HUNTER’S OWN BILLY CART RACE!
Come down for a family fun day at Carl Street, Muswellbrook on Saturday 29 June 2019

Our society has lost a sense of good old fashioned fun, and Hunter Life Education want to bring it back. Plans for the second annual Hunter Soap Box Derby, sponsored by Unity Bank, are in full swing. Kids and kids at heart will be racing home-made billy carts downhill in suburban Muswellbrook from 9am on Saturday 29 June, vying for winner’s bragging rights.

The PCYC Muswellbrook carpark will play host to much of the festivities, where there will be an event opening ceremony attended and opened by the Muswellbrook Shire Council Mayor and Healthy Harold, food stalls, family attractions like FREE face painting, FREE Chair o Plane for the kids, market stalls, military equipment on display, Fire Engine with hose play, FREE baby animal petting zoo, and of course homemade billy carts whizzing down the hill on Carl Street, Muswellbrook – reaching up to 35km/h!
