Adelaide Hills Family Company Launches Super Green Powder Juice Brand

Adelaide Hills family business Curavita launched it's new organic super green powder brand in June 2019.  The brand was launched after a long R&D process to create a green juice powder that not only tasted great but provided the health benefits that are associated with super green powders. Having been an advocate or green juicing for many years, and seeing the health benefits it provides for everyday Australians, the business has launched Curavita Green Boost Super Greens to provide a cheaper alternative and more convenient way to consume and enjoy the health benefits of green juice and super foods. 

Is It The Best Tasting Super Greens In Australia?

Brand owner Jono Farrington said:

"we did extensive research on the major green juice brands in the Australian market. While many were mildly appealing, some were too sweet and others we simply not very nice to drink, so we set out to create a blend that has all the ingredients we wanted, while achieving an appealing and tasty health drink"

Core Ingredients

With 12 super food ingredients, Curavita Green Boost is packaged in a 250 gm pouch, suitable for a 30 supply. It is recommended that users add 2 teaspoons to daily to 200 to 300 ml of water.

The 12 ingredients include:

• oganic wheatgress
• organic spinach
• organic spirulina
• organic match green tea
• organic lemon powder
• organic coconut water powder
• organic natural vanilla
• organic inulin
• organic tumeric
• organic black pepper
• organic celery seed
• organic stevia

Adding Tumeric And Inulin

A key consideration was the addiotn of tumeric and inulin to the blend. Initially this caused difficulties in achieving the taste that was desired, but the end result is a very appelaing drink. The business was keen for tumeric, a proven anti inflammatory and anti oxidant food source (Source) and inulin a high fibre prebiotic (Source) to be part of the final blend. The wholistic health benefits combined with the other ingredients has produced a balanced health product.

Future Plans

At this stage the business plans to only sell their Green Boost superfood on it's Curavita online store. Options include auto ship where the customer can subscribe and have thier green juice deliverred monthly automatically. The product is also listed on Amazon.com.au as a super green powder.

Currently R&D is also in place for new products including a beet juice powder, tumeric latte and protein powders. The business also hopes to expand into the bricks and mortar retail market and is currently actively sourcing retailers.
