Be in the know with the AgQuip App and Radio

Announcement posted by ACM Rural Events 15 Aug 2019

Thousands of companies and hundreds of demonstrations and events can be hard to keep track of, but visitors to AgQuip won’t miss a thing by downloading the AgQuip App and tuning into AgQuip radio FM106.7.

AgQuip 2019 is the biggest Agri-event in Australia that anyone on the land simply cannot afford to miss – with more than 3000 individual companies and organisations exhibiting and over 100,000- potential customers expected through the gates over the three days.

To help visitors navigate the largest field day site in the country, AgQuip has a free smartphone app –easy-to-use information and research tool that is not only designed for pre-planning a visit but most importantly it is a handy on-site “mate.”

Visitors will be able to download and use an iPhone or android AgQuip app, packed with handy onsite features including a complete, searchable and up-to-date exhibitor list with their site locations. This year we have captured more companies on site – with exhibitors providing their brand name product suppliers.

Group Manager, Australian Community Media’s Rural Events division, Ms. Kate Nugent said: “The app will have the capability of searching specific exhibitors’ products – with built-in site maps and on-site tools to help you work your way around the field day static display area.”

Similarly, AgQuip FM 106.7 has everything visitors need to know about Australia’s premier primary industry field days.

“We will be reminding our visitors about the many rural and regional support organisations who have been invited to participate in this year’s event and assist farmers in applying for drought funding relief.  This includes regular updates on the new AIM Centre program covering drought relief assistance, mental health, and general health support and smart farm methods and technology.

“There will be regular updates on the hour of all demos and activities taking place, as well as exhibitor special deals, new product and service information, live interviews, visitor service, and amenities reminders – all that makes AgQuip so valuable for people on the land,” Ms. Nugent added.

Even those who haven’t yet made it to the event will benefit from AgQuip FM 106.7.

“Visitors will be able to pick up the station as they’re nearing the field by road so that they can prepare for their visit and keep up-to-date with road conditions and hazards with information supplied by NSW Police,” explained Ms. Nugent.

AgQuip will be held at its purpose-built 32-hectare site eight kilometres west of Gunnedah NSW from 20 to 22 August 2019.

Car parks are open from 7.30am daily, with public entry on to the static display grid from 9 am.  It’s free admission.

Entrance gates to AgQuip are open from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday 20 August, and Wednesday 21 August and on Thursday 22 August from 9 am to 4 pm – and the AIM Centre sessions start at 10 am daily.
