Australian individuals and enterprises on a mission to make a difference can apply for $20,000 funding to help them do so.

Applications are now invited for the second annual CameraPro Explorer’s Grant, established to further change-making initiatives and bring them exposure through photography/video.

Last year’s Explorer’s Grant has helped to support and promote a variety of remarkable projects:

·         Meet the Ocean – an educational non-profit using virtual reality to inspire/teach the public about marine conservation and rehabilitate kids in hospital

·         Cisarua Refugee Learning Centre – a refugee-led school in Indonesia teaching 1,500 refugee children from Afghanistan unable to attend local schools

·         Rafiki Africa Ministries, Buwooya Mission School, EthiopiAid and Action Ethiopia – locally run Ugandan and Ethiopian aid organisations assisting disadvantaged children, women and local farmers

Nonprofit organisations, as well as amateur or professional photographers and videographers, can apply for the 2019 CameraPro Explorer’s Grant from now until 30 September 2019.
