HelloMind App Becomes Finalist At UCSF Digital Health Awards

Announcement posted by Teknowledge software 26 Sep 2019

HelloMind has been named among the 10 finalists in 2 separate categories at the UCSF Digital Health Awards (Best Consumer Wellness and Prevention Company AND Best Mental Health Company). The awards show will be held on October 10 at San Francisco.

HelloMind - the hugely appreciated meditation and self-help app - is continuing to make waves. Conceptualised by renowned hypnotherapist Jacob Strachotta and developed by Teksmobile, Hellomind has been listed as one of the finalists at the prestigious University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Digital Health Awards. What makes the news doubly good is the fact that the app has made it to the final round in 2 categories - Best Consumer Wellness & Prevention Company and Best Mental Health Company.

Gaining recognition at the Hollywood-styled UCSF Digital Health Awards is no more than what HelloMind richly deserves, opined Teksmobile CEO Hussain Fakhruddin. In a brief tête-à-tête, he emphasised on the sheer volume of hard work, expertise and professionalism that has gone in for making the app a sustainable and user-friendly digital health solution. In particular, Hussain singled out the efforts of Jacob Strachotta - whose Result Driven Hypnosis (RDH) technique shapes the functionality of the HelloMind app.

By virtue of becoming finalists at the UCSF Digital Health Awards, HelloMind will be able to rub shoulders with the biggest players in the industry - from HeadSpace and FitBit, to 23andMe and others. Well over 500 global submissions were submitted in total at the UCSF Awards (organised by UCSF Healthhub), and 100+ judges did the evaluations. It is indeed remarkable that HelloMind, a comparatively small enterprise, has gone on to reach the final round in as many as 2 different categories at these awards. Both Jacob and Hussain are, understandably, elated.

Jacob and his team have been working on the HelloMind project for years now. Over time, the focus has remained the same - to provide personalised assistance to users on an ongoing basis. Hailing it as a ‘breakthrough tool in digital health’, Hussain stated that HelloMind has opened up newer and more interesting ways in which technology can be used for boosting self-help for individuals and making the overall health system more robust than ever. Jacob also took the opportunity to express his gratitude for the adulations and global recognitions coming the way of HelloMind. The app has already won multiple high-profile app awards, been featured in noteworthy top-XX lists, and been listed at the top of the Danish App Store. Becoming the finalist at the UCSF Digital Awards is the latest testimony of the global popularity and effectiveness of this meditation and self-help app.

As interest levels in maintaining and enhancing mental health have grown among people, the acceptance of HelloMind has spiked. The app - with its extensive range of audio treatment sessions and boosters - helps users tackle a wide range of common fears and phobias, right from exam anxiety, overeating and insomnia, to low self-esteem, smoking, fear of animals and other problems. The reviews of the app are uniformly positive, and Jacob’s RDH technique has been proven to be a roaring success.

There are a total of 13 categories at the UCSF Digital Health Awards, and HelloMind has been selected as one of the finalists in 2 of them (Best Mental Health Company and Best Consumer Wellness and Prevention Company). This, as Hussain pointed out, consolidates the position of HelloMind as a global leader in the field of digital health services. It is a psychological tool that delivers real value to end-users - and the total volume of HelloMind-users globally is, indeed, rising.

Over the years, several mobile apps and digital solutions created by Teksmobile have gone on to bag prestigious app awards and honourable mentions. The team is obviously overjoyed at the selection of HelloMind at the UCSF Digital Health Awards - but Hussain has his eyes trained on the future. While wishing HelloMind all the very best for the final round, the veteran tech entrepreneur also said that awards and recognitions boost the morale of the Teks team, and make them strive for further excellence. The company is currently working on a set of innovative event technology solutions, IoT-powered tools and an education technology platform - and Hussain firmly believes that more successes will follow. Teksmobile will, of course, continue to collaborate with Jacob and his team and work on HelloMind.

The final round of the UCSF Digital Health Awards (partnered by American Health Association (AMA)) will be held on the 10th of October, at Byers Auditorium, UCSF Mission Bay, San Francisco. HelloMind will be there along with the other finalists - and Jacob has his fingers crossed for the day.
