XTRFY PRESENTS PROJECT 4 – THE NEXT LEVEL OF LIGHTWEIGHT GAMING MICE

Swedish gaming gear specialists Xtrfy have revealed their next product. Project 4 is an ongoing process to create a new series of ultra-light mice with unprecedented performance, durability and feel.

Sydney, Australia – 2 October 2019: After the M1, M2 and M3 gaming mice, Xtrfy now introduces Project 4. An uncompromising effort with the goal of taking lightweight gaming mice to the next level.
“While a lot of gamers are going ultra-light, we see a standard that doesn’t match our image of the perfect mouse. It’s time to change that”, says Erik Jensen, CTO at Xtrfy.
”It’s time for lightweight mice to meet the demands of esporters. Based on feedback from our network of pro gamers and the gaming community in general, we’re creating a mouse that’s incredibly light yet top-performing and durable. With a right-handed, ergonomic shape for the right grip and feel”, Erik continues.
With the new mouse, Xtrfy introduces a brand new shape, and a shell thoroughly engineered to minimize weight while retaining durability. The expected weight is around 65 grams, including RGB illumination and state-of-the-art components such as Pixart’s highest-performing gaming sensor – the 3389 – customized Omron switches and an ARM 32-bit microcontroller. The inside of the mouse is covered in conformal coating, making it dust and splash resistant.
Coming in 5 different editions, the mouse is not only made to make an impression in-game.
“We want to create something special for all gamers out there. As of now, we’re excited to reveal no less than 5 different versions, including a retro edition”, says Joakim Jansson, CEO at Xtrfy.
“Growing up, it was all about Star Wars, Commodore 64, Atari and Nintendo. For us, that’s where it all started. The Retro edition is a trip down memory lane and a tribute to the early years of gaming”, Joakim explains.
