CASE Junior Space School and CASE Senior Space School are programs spearheaded by the California Association for STEAM Education (CASE), and represent the CASE Space School International Study program options. CASE Space School is academically accredited through Legend College Preparatory School, California, which ensures students obtain bona fide academic credits and transcripts to validate their course completion. CASE Space School is partnered with Legend College Preparatory Online School (Legend) so that students have ready access to their official US transcripts and academic tracks demonstrating their intention for college and university admissions. Through completing CASE Space School, students are eligible to receive course credits and an academic transcript. Students require official transcripts when applying for tertiary study and when enrolling in a US University/College.
Although international students do not require a GPA, a transcript identifying the completion of a College Preparatory Course at a certain GPA helps validate international students’ academic proficiency and readiness to study at college level. Students with an official CASE Space School transcript can apply to any US university or college. When applying to colleges in the University of California System (UC System), the application process is simplified as CASE Space School has been pre-approved by UC. With major US universities such as Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, UCLA, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz as part of the UC system, this provides international students with a definite advantage.
