LET's GROOVE Melbourne, it's time to HOOK (YOU) UP!
 

Australia's ARIA Award-winning masters of RnB - CDB - are bringing their smooth vocal harmonies and choreographed high energy show to The Toff for an end of year celebration on Friday, November 29.
Featuring the original line-up of Andrew De Silva, brothers Gary and Brad Pinto and Danny Williams, this show will feature all of CDB’s greatest hits including Hook Me Up, Let's Groove, Hey Girl, Good Times and Back Then,  as well as songs from their 2017 album Tailored For Now released by Warner Music, featuring the band's tribute to elevent of their 90s RnB heroes, including Boyz II Men, Bobby Brown, Montell Jordan, SWV and more.
As the pioneers of the Australian RnB music scene, CDB have welcomed the recent resurgence and popularity of 90s RnB in mainstream music culture.
“There's always been a die-hard RnB following in Australian subculture, add to that the the recent resurgence and popularity of 90s RnB, it’s an exciting time to be out there connecting with people, giving back and showcase that 90s flavour,” says Gary Pinto.

CDB BIOGRAPHY
Well revered for their R&B style and vocal harmonies, CDB featuring Andrew De Silva, Brad Pinto, Gary Pinto and Danny Williams, toured the world and achieve certified platinum sales.
Formed in Melbourne in 1991, the vocal quartet were reputed around their hometown for their urban live shows. Their debut release – Glide With Me (1994) – went Platinum in Australia and even hit the Top 5 in France.
The subsequent single – Let’s Groove – was the best-selling single in Australia in 1995. CDB toured far and wide, sharing the stage with the likes of Boyz II Men, K-Ci & Jo-Jo, Desiree and Tina Arena. During this time they also performed in Seoul to 100,000 music fans, while the show was also broadcast to an audience of 17-million people worldwide.
The band’s second album Lifted (1997), saw more successful singles, including Good Times and Back Then.
More recently CDB were back into the studio recording and in 2017 released, through Warner Music, ‘Tailored For Now’ - eleven tracks celebrating 1990s R&B heroes such as Boyz II Men, Montell Jordan and SWV to name a few. Their latest single ‘Wobble’ was released December 2018.
Outside of CDB, the four acclaimed musicians have all had their own successful ventures. Andrew De Silva won the 2012 season final of Australia’s Got Talent and is on the road with his show Purple Revolution. He has established himself as a respected recording artist, songwriter and producer.
Gary Pinto is the vocal director of X-Factor, having mentored artists such as Samantha Jade, Dami Im and Will Singe to name a few. Gary has also just completed, to rave reviews, a show based on the life of Soul Legend, Sam Cooke, ‘The Songs and Times Of Sam Cooke’. Following rave reviews a nationwide tour is planned for later this year.
Brad Pinto is another accomplished songwriter, including writing the Triple J Hottest 100 hit single Boys Like You with rapper 360. Brad’s song has recently been recorded by U.S. Rap Superstar G-Eazy’s for his latest album, ‘The Beautiful & Damned’.
