Hotel Supplier Receives Sustainable Award

For the team at Vendella International Australia, sustainability is a way of business that ensures we are caring for the needs and demands of tomorrow and beyond. 

Supply chain processes and practices, ethical trade, social and environmental responsibility are now common place phrases across all sectors of trade. We have a number of initiatives in place as we work toward continued improvement. 

In recognition of these initiatives our New Zealand team were awarded the Most Sustainable Business Project Award across all NZ businesses. Each finalist had to demonstrate sustainable and environmentally conscious behaviours across four key areas: Litter Prevention and Waste Minimisation, Community Beautification, Recycling Projects and Sustainable Tourism. Over the past 12 months alone, our premium micofibre has saved 2,151,621 plastic bottles (500ml) from ocean and landfills, saving a total of 550 cubic metres of landfill space.
