Micromuse Asia-Pacific expands customer relations with region-based Netcool technical support facility

Company's growing Asia-Pacific service customer base gains support with new local customer care and Netcool software helpdesk
Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of ultra-scalable, realtime business and service assurance software, today announced the opening of its first Asia-Pacific based customer relations and technical support facility. The helpdesk is based in Perth and supported by four multilingual staff. It will provide enhanced customer care and technical resources to Netcool users throughout the Asia-Pacific region by offering customer support in English, Mandarin and Japanese. The helpdesk is an extension of Micromuse's development activities in the Perth office.

"We recently added wireless providers including CSL and SmarTone in Hong Kong, service providers such as NTT Communications in Japan, enterprises including the Hong Kong Jockey Club and financial institutions including the Bank of China to our regional customer base. The new Asia-Pacific technical support facility will enable us to provide premier customer care across the region."
