Quotes from Principal, Dr Toni Meath

Our school is dedicated to empowering girls through education. Education creates opportunities that may otherwise be closed to individuals due to structural barriers such systemic bias or gender inequality.”

“As a girl’s school, we are proud to be a training ground for Victoria’s next generation of female leaders. We are confident that these results will open doors, spark passions and fuel ambitions.”

“We recognise that our VCE results are only the part of the story as far as the experiences our students are afforded in their time with us. Our alignment of values as a community is strong, and in every classroom we see the fostering of a genuine love of learning and the development of ethical women of action. At Melbourne Girls Grammar we enjoy a scholarly approach and the pleasure of the rigour of learning”

“Creative thinking is at the heart of all academic success. Inspiring curiosity and intellectual risk taking is an educational priority at our school.”

“We are so pleased that our students have received results that will open doors to further learning and opportunities. But ultimately, education is about so much more. And as a school community, we are so proud of all the times our students have tested themselves, shown intellectual courage and strong leadership”
