AIM Announces the First Round of GD/PI for PGDM Courses

New Delhi, Dec. 23, 2019: To begin with the admission and selection process for PGDM courses, Asia – Pacific Institute of Management, one of the best B-schools in Delhi/ NCR has revealed the date for GD/PI which is going to be held on December 27, 2019 (Friday) from 9 am onwards. The GD/PI is scheduled to take place at AIM campus in B B Verma auditorium, situated in Jasola Vihar, New Delhi.

The first round of GD/PI anticipates screening out the dormant leadership and managerial skills of the candidates.  It evaluates team building; integrity, communication skills, accountability and resilience power that are important to become successful managers.  

Commenting on the announcement, Surabhi Goyal, director officiating of AIM said, “Great leaders and managers are also great communicators and influencers. We are excited with the upcoming GD/PI event that we are going to meet and evaluate new talent in our silver jubilee batch next year. We wish them good luck with their preparation.”  

The commencement of upcoming GD is to conduct a fair round of assessment for students by subdividing them into groups. Each group will be allotted with one topic and given a slot of 10- 20 minutes for discussion.

Based on the group discussion, candidates will be shortlisted by the college management for Personal Interview. It will include questions related to their interests and hobbies and college will evaluate their mark sheets and certifications accrued till graduation.

In order to make the students aware about AIM’s academic excellence, the director of the institute will address and brief them about the PGDM courses offered, their relevance and scope. Additionally, she will also make them aware of the institute’s impeccable placement record with a long list of reputed companies associated with them for recruitment.

The students will also be served high tea and snacks in between GD and PI as refreshments.
