4 times NBA Champion and Hall of Famer, 1996 Dream Team Atlanta Olympic Gold Medallist, author, DJ, Rapper, business mogul, TV and movie star, sports commentator and philanthropist Shaquille “ SHAQ”  O’Neal will speak in Brisbane for the first time ever presented by La Trobe Financial on Saturday night June 13 2020 in the Great Hall at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Glenelg St. South Brisbane.

At 2.16 metres tall, 147kg ( 7ft 1 inch, 325 pounds) and with a size 22 shoe Shaq was one of the tallest and heaviest players ever. He is also one of the greatest NBA basketballers of all time, 8th highest point scorer ever (28,596 - 23.7 ppg) a global sporting legend winning 3 back to back championships with the LA Lakers from 2000-2002 and a fourth in 2006 with Miami Heat.He player for six teams in his incredible 19 year career. 

The beloved business mogul will be in Brisbane speaking on tips for success, offering unplugged and uncensored conversations about his life, and touching on many unspoken moments throughout his decorated career on and off the court.

O'Neal's individual accolades include the 1999–2000 MVP award, the 1992–93 NBA Rookie of the Year award, 15 All-Star game selections, three All-Star Game MVP awards, three Finals MVP awards, two scoring titles, 14 All-NBA team selections, and three NBA All-Defensive Team selections. He is one of only three players to win NBA MVP, All-Star game MVP and Finals MVP awards in the same year (2000); the other players are Willis Reed in 1970 and Michael Jordan in 1996 and 1998. He ranks 8th all-time in points scored, 6th in field goals, 15th in rebounds, and 8th in blocks. Largely due to his ability to dunk the basketball, O'Neal also ranks third all-time in field goal percentage (58.2%).[7] O'Neal was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.[8] He was elected to the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2017.[9]
