AlayaCare announces new General Managers, ANZ and EMEA

Announcement posted by AlayaCare 28 Jan 2020

Annette Hili, former COO of Australia’s top home, community and residential aged care provider, joins AlayaCare as the new General Manager for its Australia and New Zealand operations

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – January 28, 2020 – AlayaCare, award-winning home care technology provider, announced today the appointment of Annette Hili as the new General Manager for its Australia and New Zealand operations.

Hili brings more than 23 years of experience in the industry, holding numerous positions, including COO of BaptistCare NSW – Australia’s leading and most respected home, community and residential aged care provider, with over 3,500 employees and 160 offices. There she oversaw the operational activities of the organisation and led the company’s strategy and growth.

“AlayaCare is growing at a tremendous pace in the Australian and New Zealand markets,” said Adrian Schauer, CEO & Founder, AlayaCare. “I am thrilled to welcome Annette to the executive team. In her time at BaptistCare, as an early adopter and long-time AlayaCare client, she has exhibited tremendous leadership, innovation and collaboration positioning her well to lead AlayaCare’s Australian and New Zealand operations during this time of rapid growth. We’re very fortunate to have her on board.”

Earlier this month, AlayaCare announced the acquisition of Procura, a division of Complia Health, as part of their strategy to expand their presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Hili has worked with both AlayaCare and Procura in her time at BaptistCare NSW. In her new role at AlayaCare, Hili will lead the growth strategy of the newly expanded AlayaCare organisation, focusing on delivering even better client care and experiences, accelerating growth, and leveraging data to drive improved outcomes.

“I have had the pleasure to work alongside the AlayaCare team for a few years now and have been blown away by their passion, dedication and commitment to propelling home, community and residential care into the future,” said Hili. “I have also seen first-hand how AlayaCare’s best-in-class product is improving business operations and positively impacting thousands of clients and employees across Australia and New Zealand. I’m thrilled to start this new chapter with another forward-thinking organisation that is driven to transform the industry.”

Hili will lead AlayaCare’s Australian and New Zealand operations into the next phase of the company’s development, effective March 1, 2020.

Garry Neale, who joined the AlayaCare team in early January as part of the Procura acquisition, will assume the role of GM of Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA). Neale will oversee expansion of AlayaCare’s existing presence in the Middle East and drive forward on other international opportunities to expand AlayaCare’s private pay client base.
