Australia’s own country rock dynamo Jayne Denham’s star is well and truly on the rise, with her recent sold out show at Tamworth Country Music Festival, Country Music Channel Australia adding her latest clip which features the world famous Ice Road Truckers, and now a slew of new performance dates announced for 2020, including Queensland’s Groundwater Country Music Festival on the Gold Coast, where she will share the bill with the likes of Kasey Chambers, Gina Jeffreys and Shannon Noll, the latter with whom she released the No. 1 country single, ‘Beyond These City Lights’.

A passionate advocate for raising the profile of the trucking community through her music, Jayne is the official ambassador for the Women In Trucking Association in the US, where for the past six years she has spent several months each year, touring tirelessly and waving the Aussie flag while still calling Australia home.

The Golden Guitar nominee’s latest single, titled Black Coffee and White Lineshas garnered over 205,000 streams on Spotify), with the clip racking up over 55,000 plays to date (within two months). Her music received over one million Spotify plays in 2019 alone.

The song and video pay tribute to the brave Ice Road Truckers in North America, who take their lives into their own hands driving heavily loaded vehicles across frozen lakes to deliver supplies to remote locations in Canada and Alaska. The emotive clip features iconic stars of the critically acclaimed History Channel TV series, ‘Ice Road Truckers’ -  Lisa Kelly, Carey Hall and Maya Sieber Pyskaty

Although never having driven a truck herself (music is her jam), Jayne’s strong connection to the trucking industry has also earned her sponsorship from many companies including Wickham Freight Lines, who have emblazoned three of their semi-trailers with Jayne’s image and album cover and can be routinely spotted travelling up and down Australia’s east coast.

Dynamic performances and girl power define Jayne’s live shows. Both country and rock music run deep in her veins and she fuses them seamlessly to take her audiences on a journey from ballads of love and life to powerhouse rock tracks that never fail to get the crowds on their feet.

The Blue Mountains-based singer/songwriter - who won the Best Rising Star category in the Australian Independent Country Music Awards has written and recorded with some of the biggest names in the industry, including producer Brian White; writers Jerry Salley, Phil Barton and Jennifer Schott; and Rascal Flatts’ Jay De Marcus, in whose studio she recorded her hit fourth album in 2018, ‘Calamity’, and who also played bass on the record.

Jayne is looking forward to performing many more live shows around Australia in 2020, including NQ’s Rock’n Country in late August, where she shares the bill with the likes of Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daly, The Sunny Cowgirls and James Blundell, to name a few.
