SXiQ appoints Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Stefano Tempesta as CTO

SXiQ has appointed Stefano Tempesta into the newly created, key technical role of Chief Technology Officer – Digital & Product Development, responsible for continuing to develop SXiQ’s offerings and solutions in the Intelligent Workplace, Application Modernisation, Data and AI arenas. 

Stefano is the third pillar of the SXiQ Technical Leadership team, taking on the function of innovative digital solutions development and sits alongside the Cloud CTO (Simon Heath) and Implementation Architecture CTO (Mike Young).    

Tempesta comes to SXiQ with a significant pedigree of experience, as one of only 160 of the world's top technology visionaries, a Microsoft Regional Director chosen by Microsoft specifically for his proven cross-platform expertise, community leadership, and commitment to business results.   Stefano is a Microsoft MVP (Most Valued Professional) for Azure, A.I. and Business Applications categories.  

This senior appointment continues SXiQ’s commitment to driving innovation for their clients and creating meaningful solutions and offerings, which unshackle customers, accelerate their innovation, and drive increased business value through visionary use of technology.

Stefano will report to SXiQ Executive General Manager Digital Transformation, Cameron Smith, who said the business will benefit from the new CTO’s extensive Microsoft & IT background.

Stefano was awarded "Gold Disruptor" by Australian Computer Society in the ICT Professional of the Year category in 2019 and is an in-demand keynote speaker who recently took to the stage at Microsoft Ignite in Sydney.
