WeBOOST announcing collaboration project with Deakin University

WeBOOST is excited to announce a preliminary agreement to collaborate with Deakin University in autonomous driving.
The two parties have been in close relationship for the past years and have reached such consent recently.
Rather than fighting for competitive advantage against market leaders, the partnership aimed to promote knowledge gaining of autonomous driving for the greater deeds of technology and humanity.
“This is a demonstration of our company’s vision in benefitting the society with our skills,” said Nick, Marketing Manager at WeBoost.
Over the past 4 years, WeBOOST persistently offered competitive IT development and digital marketing solutions for countless start-ups to grow from an idea to an actual reality.
The project is currently aiming towards a SAE Level 5 Automation, which refers to a fully automated self-driving vehicle.
As the next-generation autonomous driving will built on the 5G/6G wireless network, the increased data transmission adds complexity to the security of the vehicle against internet attacks.
Currently titled "an advanced next-generation authentication scheme for autonomous vehicular fog infrastructure", the project will be led by Professor Robin Doss, Doctor Frank Jiang from Deakin University and Dr Yongjiang Zhang from WeBOOST with support from respective parties.
“Our company has been recruiting talents with experience and passion outside of our core business. And we are happy to see their true talents being realised,” added Nick.
“Whilst the details of the collaboration are being discussed, we are looking towards a close collaboration with the rising university.”
In June 2019, Deakin University welcomed an exciting news on its latest achievement. The university ranked 271 in the QS World University Rankings as the top 1.1 per cent amongst all universities in the world.
The top 300 ranking was also confirmed with two other major global rankings – ARWU and Times Higher Education.
