Running Boards supports AFL State of Origin and Heroes Gold bushfire fundraising
National out of home media provider, Running Boards, is supporting two bushfire relief fundraising activities – AFL State of Origin Live Site and Christian O’Connell’s Breakfast Show Heroes Gold.

Heroes Gold – The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show launched a new beer Heroes Gold to raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Christian asked listeners to provide billboards to promote the launch of Heroes Gold and Running Boards answered the call.

The next day Running Boards had a Digital Mobile Billboard campaign up and running in the Melbourne CBD.

Running Boards Managing Director Charles Tremlett said “it was great to be able to provide an instant contribution to drive Heroes Gold beer sales”.

AFL State of Origin Live Site – Hawthorn Football Club approached Running Boards to provide outdoor digital screens for the Live Site at the Morwell Recreation Reserve. “When Running Boards received the brief the whole team agreed that we should be supporting this event as a partner rather than a commercial basis” said Tremlett.

Running Boards is supplying two giant outdoor LED Digital Screens with audio to the anticipated crowd of 5,000 people on Friday 28 February 2020.

Hawthorn CEO Justin Reeves said “The support we’ve received from Running Boards has enabled the club to grow our event to a larger scale, ultimately giving more back to the Gippsland community and allowing footy fans far and wide to catch all the action.”

The Heroes Gold Digital Mobile Billboard campaign was extended to promote both Heroes Gold and the Live Site. Tremlett says “we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to target fans attending Elton John’s final concert at AAMI Park in Melbourne to support two fantastic bushfire fundraisers”.
