Pushing artists out into the open

Announcement posted by We Push Buttons 17 Mar 2020

Arts Open 2020 a great success

Web design and digital marketing experts We Push Buttons are again putting their energies where the arts are through an app and marketing campaign for Arts Open 2020—Meet the Makers, this year’s 5th biennial visual arts festival held in Castlemaine and surrounds.

Arts Open 2020 saw visual artists from all over the Mount Alexander Shire open their studio doors, giving the public a chance to meet the region’s creators, witness the spaces where work is made, learn about the creative process — and, importantly, purchase work direct from the artists.

With a longstanding commitment to developing the arts and community, We Push Buttons once more supported the festival with an online presence, secure hosting and extensive marketing and branding.

Director of We Push Buttons Rob Jennings, who co-founded Arts Open in 2010 with local Castlemaine artists Ben Laycock and Michelle Day, is a lifelong backer of the creative arts:

“Castlemaine is famed for the diverse arts community calling this place home and that means a lot to all of us here at We Push Buttons; it’s very much a part of who we are. And it goes beyond simple feelings: we’ve worked for a number of artists and arts organisations so that connection is, again, intrinsic to who we are, and hence, who we are as a business.”

Artists are just some of We Push Buttons’ wide range of clients, who also include community organisations, large and small businesses, and local government agencies.
