STATE-OF-THE-ART CHILDCARE CENTRE OPENS IN NORTH HARBOUR

Announcement posted by M10 Collective 23 Mar 2020

South East Queensland based, Edge Early Learning, will today open the latest childcare centre in their rapidly growing network, located in the new development area of North Harbour, part of the Moreton Bay region.
The first childcare centre to open in the area, Edge Early Learning North Harbour’s purpose-built facility will provide state-of-the-art learning resources, large spacious outdoor play areas, and a sunsmart station where sunscreen will be applied to children daily.

The new centre, catering to working parents and families within the community, will provide childcare services for up to 120 children from 6-weeks to school age and offer long, convenient day care hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

Edge Early Learning Chief Executive Officer, Annie Bryce, said she looks forward to introducing the provision of high-quality childcare to the local area, especially in this current climate.

“There is increasing reliance on childcare services as the country battles the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many parents, now more than ever, need to rely on reputable, health-responsive and compliant centres that deliver a high level of care.”

“Opening more early learning centres is critical to helping with the shortage of places and being the only centre at North Harbour will give parents an option in the vicinity of their homes.”

“We’re looking forward to beginning our partnership with North Harbour and becoming a part of this great new community.”

As a full-service childcare provider, Edge Early Learning North Harbour will also be one of the first centres within the network to rollout their sustainability practices, providing children with eco-friendly nappies and wipes which are biodegradable and made from 100% pure bamboo.

The centre officially opens to the public today, with 28 families already enrolled and 50 families booked in for tours.

Edge Early Learning North Harbour Centre Director, Jackie Hindle, expressed her enthusiasm about the centre becoming the heart of a growing community.

“We are extremely proud of our beautiful well-resourced centre and are looking forward to welcoming local families to join us,” she said.

“At Edge Early Learning, we strive to be Australia’s best in early childhood education and our philosophy is to provide a supportive and gentle environment in which to learn, give children a strong sense of belonging and community and promote health and well-being,” she said

Edge Early Learning North Harbour is located on Cnr Buckley Road and Fraser Drive, Burpengary East, QLD 4505.
