The TITAN SDS is an all in one recording and display device. Interaction with the system is via a set of touch screen controls on front panel of the console. The controls may be used to enter patient information, hospital information, procedure and surgeon information. The Touch Screen controls are also used to control functions such as “record video”, “stop recording video”, “record a still picture”, “playback”, and “print stills”. The icons are also used for various administrative functions and for downloading video to an external storage media such as USB memory stick or USB hard drive.”
The resolution enables the visualisation and recording of sub-millimetre size structures. A 2x electronic zoom can be displayed without any apparent loss in resolution. The progressive scan technology virtually eliminates video smearing. The aspect ratio will bring the surgical instruments, surgical site and surgeon’s hands into the video giving observers a better teaching perspective of the procedure.
The video is the most descriptive technique for displaying the actual procedure enabling better and more efficient teaching of medical students and residents. The tablet is the most flexible device for entry of patient information. It also allows for easy management of stills and recorded videos by creating the means to share by email, network or USB.
Sunoptics Surgical TITAN HD Video Documentation System is designed to provide the surgical team with the brightest light and the means of viewing high definition video in the operating room during surgical procedures. The use of the system allows the entire operating team to view exactly what the surgeon is doing and anticipate the next step in the procedure making the entire team more efficient.
