Pack King seals the deal for your boat with new high tack adhesive Sub Aqua

Announcement posted by PACK KING 01 Apr 2020

Holes in your boat are highly inconvenient, yet are common stories in mariners’ lives. Especially if you have already begun your journey in the sea, a hole in your boat, letting water gushing in, can be a potentially life threatening scenario. Unless you carry around heavy tools and an engineering expert in this matter, it is next to impossible to fix a puncture in your boat when you are in the middle of the ocean.

Sub Aqua is here to do exactly this job for you. It is a high tack industry adhesive and sealant which can fix any leak, anywhere, no matter how deep it is; much quicker than any other seal. All you have to do is wipe the surface, remove loose debris and algae from it, and directly apply the adhesive there. It sticks to and fixes cracks in almost any material - stone, metal, wood, many plastics, etc., holding a weight of up to 20 kg. It seals holes easily even when they are underwater, or are on a rusty exterior - all with just one coat of the adhesive. It can even seal around pumps, portholes, pilot houses, and plugs.

On a boat, when it is riding on the waves, especially when there is a storm, things move around a lot. This is really troublesome and at times, dangerous. Sub Aqua comes to the rescue even in cases like these. You can simply use it like any other adhesive to stick things that you don’t want to have moving around you to walls and other not-so-dangerous surfaces. Above all, the best part of Sub Aqua is that it is a simple lightweight adhesive stick that you can carry anywhere, effortlessly.

With Sub Aqua, sealing a leak on your boat has never been easier. It is a modified silicone polymer sealant - highly adhesive, extremely strong, and highly elastic. It cures using moisture from the air or in direct contact with water. It bonds to damp surfaces to fix them so finely that it is almost unnoticeable after application. After the application, the thick liquid instantly holds firm, and over 48 hrs transforms into a rubber like substance - pliable and hard wearing. On top of that, it is paintable with most paints. You do need to take one precaution however - this sealant is not suitable for use in any environment where it comes in direct contact with food, flora or fauna. Use Sub Aqua in an open space and wear protective gloves and a mask.
