TONY HILL WINS TECHNOLOGY CEO OF THE YEAR AWARD

In just over three years, Tony has taken Micro Focus from an 'orphan' division spun out from Merant, plc (recently acquired by Serena Software) to a leader in legacy application development and deployment on contemporary platforms. He has also been an industry thought leader, changing the perception of legacy IT from that of a liability to an asset.
The judges felt that Tonys visionary leadership and hands-on approach, combined with transforming Micro Focus from a COBOL tools company to a world-class leader in legacy modernization, were decisive factors in the decision to honor him with the award.
