RAD's New Service Centre for TDM Applications Enables Automated End-to-end Path Management

Paclink has announce the release of RADview Service Centre TDM, the cornerstone of the RAD family of network management products. The Service Centre application enables end-to-end path management of RADs Multiservice Access Platform (MAP) devices, for simplified service provisioning.
According to Paclink Director, Craig Martyn, "Carriers are increasingly relying on sophisticated network management systems to reduce customer service and support costs and to quickly deploy new services to increase their competitive edge, especially during the current economic downturn."
Network Management with remote configuration and monitoring capabilities, such as the RADview Service Centre, enables carriers to pin point and solve faults quickly, minimising network downtime, reducing the number of technician visits and increasing customer satisfaction.
The intuitive graphical user interface, "point and-click" functionality and easy to follow wizards of RADview Service Centre TDM, combined with powerful, end-to-end automatic path creation, increase the efficiency and accuracy of the service provisioning process. The system automatically finds the best path between endpoints on both sides of the network, based on efficient bandwidth resource analysis and user configurable cost per network link.
RADview Service Centre TDM provides two levels of service and path protection: dynamic and static. Dynamic protection re routes service in case of a problem in a network resources (eg. node or link).
Used by the service in accordance with available bandwidth. Static protection supports the carriers ability to sell premium services by allowing the carrier to allocate in advance the resources needed to pass the user information via an alternate path in case of a network node/link problem.
The Service Centre is an open, COBRA-based client-server that easily integrates with any third party network management system.
