Support continues to grow for 'Putting IT Back'

Announcement posted by Starlight Foundation 24 Sep 2002

With only a couple of weeks to go, there's still time for IT companies to participate in 'Putting IT Back' 2002 and join the other 28 companies supporting this year's initiative.
Participation kits can be downloaded from www.itfundforkids.com. Employees of IT companies simply donate a day's pay or a nominated amount to the fund throughout the month of October, to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Giant Steps. The goal for this year is to raise $350,000 and help in excess of 85 children nationally.
In 2002, IT Fund for Kids is calling for participation from any company involved in the IT industry, including vendors, industry organisations, marketing and public relations companies and publishing houses.
Companies that have already signed up to participate in the fund for 2002 are: AIIA, Alcatel, Business Objects, Check Point Software Technologies Australia, Cisco Systems, Citrix, Cognos Pty Ltd, Concord Communications, CSC, Dimension Data, Express Data, eSign, EMC, Gartner Australasia, Howorth Communications, IBM, Intel Australia Pty Ltd, Intergraph Corporation, McCorkell and Associates, Microsoft, Nokia, Nortel Network, Novell Pty Ltd, Oracle Corporation, Powerlan, Technology Venture Partners, Telstra On Air and Volante Group.
