Pure Planet Club experience 100% increase in subscriptions

Over the past two months, Australian plastic-free household subscription brand, Pure Planet Club, has experienced a 100% increase in subscribers to their home delivery toilet tissue subscriptions. The initial growth can certainly be attributed to the Covid-19 #toiletpapergate, however, they are predicting growth to continue as more and more Australian are looking to support local business and are going green.
Christina Kjaergaard, Commercial Manager, Pure Planet Club says, “As an Australian business navigating Covid-19, we’ve all had our struggles, whether it’s working with clients whose businesses have been shut down, to dealing with an unexpected increase in sales and delays on deliveries. Who would have thought being in the toilet tissue business would be considered a safe option under a pandemic!
“Our uptake in new subscribers hasn’t slowed down as a result of the supermarket shelves returning to normal and we truly believe that they will continue to grow. The feedback we’re getting from our new subscribers is that the pause we’ve all experienced in various ways during isolation has given the opportunity to rethink the way they do things, get back to basics and make better choices for the long-term,” said Christina.
