The plastic bag ban in Australian supermarkets also helped to push sales further, Junie added, with many shoppers wanted a stylish alternative to the commonly seen reusable bags.

Instagram influencers around Australia are now using this bag as part of their styling, to decorate their kitchen, hallways and laundries. 

Leading home decor Sunshine Coast-based influencer, Susanna Tolo, says the bag is one she couldn't live without.

"I use my tote bag everytime when I go to the shops, but I also use it to style my kitchen because it is just so pretty.", the 250K-follower instagrammer said.
