As DexSafe say, “Just having adequate safety equipment is not enough. You also need to make sure that your safety equipment is easy to find, and easily accessible when you need it. Keep a list of safety equipment you have on site and develop a list of incidents that might call for them. Where and when might those incidents occur? Will the necessary safety equipment be readily available in those situations

They also advocate that you should establish a schedule to periodically inspect every piece of safety equipment in your workplace, check any expiry dates and test functionality. Thinking ahead is the key here – everything you consider ahead of time is something you don’t have to make a snap decision about in a crisis moment.

DexSafe has put together a Risk Assessment Guide to help guide you through this procedure. Once you’ve identified all your hazards, DexSafe consultants can help you come up with solutions and recommendations on how to eliminate, isolate or minimise them, based on over 20 years in the industry.

DexSafe then arranges a quotation for the products based on the final plan and hazard identification report. Your quotation will include everything from supply to installation.

Once you give them the go ahead, if your job is not available ex-stock it will be manufactured to order onsite at their premises. DexSafe designs and manufactures its own barrier systems right here in New Zealand.

DexSafe offers an installation service throughout New Zealand and Australia. Health
and Safety during the installation is paramount and their installers are familiar with all Permit To Work and JSA procedures. They work quickly and efficiently to ensure there’s minimal disruption to your workplace.

Once their installers have completed the installation they’ll give you a call or visit your site if possible to ensure your satisfied with the work completed, so for more information on pedestrian barriers, expandable safety barriers and  warehouse safety procedures please go to www.dexsafe.com .
